Fund for teachers with family responsibilities
The fund for lecturers with family responsibilities can be used to apply for financial resources for the preparation and realization of flexible teaching offers. For example, student assistants (max. 120 hours with a first qualifying degree) who support teaching activities, additional care or nursing costs incurred within the framework of legal regulations, material resources, workshops, further and advanced training in the context of flexible studying / flexible teaching can be subsidized. You can also contribute your own ideas.
The prerequisite for an application to the fund is that you are responsible for the care and upbringing of a child / children under the age of 16 and / or the care of relatives in need of care as well as a current teaching commitment at the University of Kassel in the semester applied for. A grant of up to 2,000 euros per semester can be applied for as long as funds are available for this purpose.
Applications are submitted via the Family Welcome Service of the Equality Office.
