During the holiday or school break seasons, it can be especially challenging for working and studying parents to balance work or studies with childcare.
The University of Kassel offers a range of holiday childcare options in cooperation with other institutions. You can find the latest information on this page.
Holiday activities at the educational farm for children aged 6-12
The holiday activities took place during the summer and fall vacations in 2025.

What does happiness mean to you? Children explore what makes them happy - chocolate, playing with friends, walking in the woods, or new toys? They learn about countries that have declared happiness for all as their goal, explore what plants, people worldwide, and children's rights have to do with it, and create their own personal “land of happiness.”
A collaboration between Education Meets Development, Alliance for Families, and WeltGarten Witzenhausen, for children aged 8-12, €80/child. With Ines Fehrmann 05542/72812. Registration open until September 30.
