What actually comes after studying sustainability science?
In this lecture series, we explore the diverse career opportunities in sustainability science - from NGOs and research institutions to the private sector.
We exchange ideas directly with practitioners from science, civil society, politics and business, discuss current challenges and develop an understanding of the skills that are in demand in different professional fields. This is not just about job profiles, but also about key skills and the real working conditions in various sustainability contexts.
The special feature: Students from the University of Kassel are actively involved in shaping this lecture series! In working groups, they take responsibility for the organization, invite guests, set content priorities and gain practical experience in project management and collective decision-making.
This lecture provides an insight into the diversity of sustainability-related tasks and professional fields in business, administration and civil society. It is career orientation, networking and project work all in one - and offers students and prospective students the opportunity to gain an impression of how and where they would like to apply their sustainability skills later on.
The series is organized by the Kassel Institute for Sustainability. The events will take place every Tuesday from April 14, 6-8 p.m. c.t., from April 21 in the UNI:Lokal. (Exception: On 12.5., 19.5., 9.6., 16.6. the events will not take place at UNI:Lokal).
