Campus Clean Up 2.0

After collecting over 50 kg of waste in 1.5 hours at Hopla in June, we cordially invite you to Clean Up 2.0 as part of the European Week for Waste Reduction: On Monday, 24.11.2025 from 13.30 - 15 o'clock we want to make the campus beautiful & clean together again.

The starting point is at the Green Office in Nora-Platiel-Straße 2. Tools for collecting the waste will be provided. After the collection there will be children's punch and cookies as a thank you! All students, staff and other interested parties are cordially invited to support the campaign.

University employees can be released from work for the duration of the event. The prerequisite is that employees coordinate their participation with their respective supervisors in good time and that no important official duties are missed as a result (e.g. no courses should be canceled as a result).

By the way, if you are wondering why we are offering a clean-up in November - the advantage of a campaign in winter is that there is much less vegetation and we can also collect in places that are overgrown in summer.
