General student advisory service

We support all those interested in studying or continuing their studies (school pupils, trainees, professionals) in the lifelong orientation processand in the decision-making process.

We provide advice and information in individual or group discussions on

• Study programs offered by the University of Kassel
• Studying without a high school diploma
• Admission procedure and application process

Difficulties during your studies and doubts about studying are normal. The General Student Advisory Service supports those seeking advice in finding solutions to study-related challenges.

Parents and teachers are important multipliers in career guidance. The General Student Advisory Service offers a wide range of orientation formats and supports the preparation of teaching units on study orientation:

• Visits by pupils to the University of Kassel campus
• Study information days
• Presence at education fairs and school fairs
• Lecture or workshop in schools
• Material for preparation and follow-up of school visits on campus
• Information event for parents
• Further training for teachers
