On 8 May, our student assistants organized an exciting and informative visit to the Frankenhausen State Domain of the University of Kassel. During a guided tour of the innovative projects, we learned a lot about sustainable agriculture. The research project on dual-purpose chickens and the digital henhouse, which is breaking new ground in animal husbandry, were particularly impressive. We were also fascinated by the newly planted herb garden, the cows with their calves and the impressive new hay drying hall. It was an afternoon full of new impressions and valuable insights into forward-looking farming practices!
