The University of Kassel has been nominated by an expert jury for the German Sustainability Award 2026 (DNP)! We are thus one of the 100 pioneers who stand out for their transformational achievements, innovative strength, pioneering role and signaling effect, the scalability and leverage effect of their contributions and their development dynamics. In the field of education and research, we stand alongside 11 other institutions in Germany in the schools and universities category.
This year, the German Sustainability Award (DNP) will once again be presented jointly with the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology and the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DIHK).
