The Institute of Catholic Theology is offering a public lecture series on "Anti-Semitism and its Christian roots" in the winter semester.
Lectures on 13.11.2025, 2 pm: Jews against Jewishness: Anti-Judaistic texts in the New Testament by Prof. Dr. Matthias Schmidt (Biblical theologian at the University of Giessen) 4 pm: Response from a religious education perspective by Prof. Dr. Jan Woppowa (religious education teacher at the University of Paderborn) Both lectures take place as part of the Religious Education and Theology Study Day "Between Heritage and Mission: Anti-Semitism in the Shadow of the Cross".
