Mobility, Transport and Infrastructure (Master)

Transportation is booming, and in-depth knowledge of the links between planning, technical, economic and ecological contexts is becoming increasingly important. The three-semester Master's degree course in "Mobility, Transport and Infrastructure" offers exactly that for Bachelor's graduates who want to delve deeper into their subject.

Integrated transport planning with the subject areas of mobility management, traffic management and infrastructure planning as well as the design, layout, dimensioning, construction and operation of transport infrastructure are complex tasks which, in addition to specific specialist knowledge, require general knowledge of the transport sector and, in particular, the ability to understand and evaluate the relationships between the specific specialist areas. Against this background, the Master's degree course in "Mobility, Transport and Infrastructure" aims to expand the subject-specific knowledge acquired in the first degree course with additional interdisciplinary specialist and methodological knowledge and to supplement it with current findings and developments in the transport sector.
Students can specialize in two of the following areas: integrated transport planning, public transport, cycling and local mobility, road design, transport infrastructure and traffic engineering.
