Taster course

Be a student for a week, get a taste of lectures on your chosen degree course, attend seminars and lectures and come into contact with lecturers and students. This is exactly what the taster course at the University of Kassel offers!
The University of Kassel organizes the taster course together with the responsible teachers at our cooperation schools.
If you are a pupil at a cooperating school, you will be informed about the responsible teachers and will receive all other necessary information from your school.

Can I take part in the taster course if my school is not a partner school?
Yes, the taster course is also open to pupils from other schools. You can also register for the taster course at no cost to you.
What can I expect?
During the taster course, you will attend selected courses of a degree programme (lectures, seminars, advisory and introductory events) every day for a week, both in the morning and in the afternoon, and have the opportunity to come into contact with students and lecturers. The programme is individual for each degree programme. There is therefore no general timetable.
