RoboCup Rescue Junior vacation workshops

What is it and for whom?
The vacation workshops are 5-day workshops for girls and boys from Year 7 who want to build a robot for the fifth Kassel RoboCup qualifying tournament, which will take place on 20 and 21 February 2025 if possible.
The "self-build workshop, from grade 9, will take place in the first week of the fall holidays.
You will build a driving robot from motors, sensors and actuators (e.g. servos) that is either able to follow a track or find its way around a maze and has to master various tasks independently. To do this, you have to program a microcontroller in the programming language "C".

In the second week of the fall break, we will use a Fischertechnik kit to build a driving robot that can perform the same tasks. We program with the help of the graphical programming interface "Scratch". The workshop is suitable for 7th grade and up.

Where and when?
The workshops take place during the fall break at the university.
The self-construction workshop, suitable for students from the 9th grade from October 6 to 10, 2025, from 09:00 to 15:00. The second, with Fischertechnik, from7th grade from 13 to 17.10.2025, from 9:00 to 14:00.

You can register for both workshops up to two weeks before the start of the workshop.
The number of participants is limited to 10 in each case!
