Career prospects

With the Master's degree, business education teachers fulfill the requirements for entry into the preparatory service (traineeship). Afterwards, a variety of school-related fields of activity are open to them: These include all types of vocational schools (e.g. vocational schools or vocational grammar schools) in which business subjects are taught. Teaching at vocational schools is a challenging occupation that offers trained business teachers an interesting and future-proof job.
In addition, graduates also have access to numerous extracurricular fields of activity, e.g. as lecturers in educational institutions or companies.
The Master's degree also offers particularly successful graduates the opportunity to enter the higher civil service and take up a doctorate.
