Career prospects

Graduates can enter the preparatory service for the teaching profession at vocational schools, teach in extracurricular vocational training institutions or take on managerial training activities or activities in personnel and organizational development in companies.
Vocational-technical teachers at vocational schools cooperate closely with those responsible for training in industrial and craft enterprises, among others. One of the central tasks of vocational teachers is to provide individual advice and support to heterogeneous groups of students and to create a climate conducive to learning in the classroom. Developing their own skills in innovative vocational fields and planning, developing and implementing innovations in school operations are also key requirements. This requires comprehensive vocational pedagogical, didactic, organizational and social skills.
