General

A degree programme consists of modules that are defined in the examination regulations and described in more detail in the module handbook. The Bachelor's thesis and the Bachelor's colloquium form the final Bachelor's module. The Bachelor's thesis should be submitted in the 5th semester at the earliest. The prerequisite for registering for the Bachelor's thesis is passing the foundation modules with a specified number of credits. It is not possible to complete the internship and Bachelor's thesis at the same time.

The processing time for the Bachelor's thesis is eight weeks and begins on the day the topic is announced. The Bachelor's thesis must be presented in a Bachelor's colloquium. In addition to the candidate, the first assessor and an assessor take part in the colloquium. The Bachelor's colloquium should take place no later than ten weeks after submission of the Bachelor's thesis.
