Subsequent courses focus on linguistics, literature and regional studies. You will acquire basic knowledge of the academic study of the Spanish language. This includes topics such as the varieties of Spanish and Spanish language history as well as language culture, Spanish literary history from the early modern period to the present and the central historical developments in Spain or Latin America in the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries.
