Frankfurt, als die größte Stadt Hessens, verdient seinen Ruf nicht nur als bedeutendster Finanzplatz Deutschlands, sondern zieht mit seinen kultur-geprägten Sehenswürdigkeiten und Orten viele neugierige Besucher zu sich. Besucht mit uns die Stadt und erlebt mit uns die Stadt! Ihr habt nun die Wahl: Besucht mit uns den Palmengarten, dem größten botanischen Garten Deutschlands, um seltene, exotische Pflanzenarten kennenzulernen, oder werft einen Blick hinter den Kulissen und geht mit uns ins Filmmuseum. Hier werden spannende Eindrücke über Filmproduktion und Inszenierungen, sowie die Entwicklung des “Films” vermittelt. Anschließend werden wir genügend Freizeit haben, um die Innenstadt Frankfurts zu erkunden.

Anmeldung:

• Jede Exkursion erfordert entweder eine Teilnahmegebühr oder eine Kaution, die bei der Anmeldung in bar bezahlt werden muss.
• Kautionen werden nur an diejenigen zurückerstattet, die an der Exkursion teilnehmen!
• Zu den Exkursionen könnt ihr euch montags von 13 bis 15 Uhr im Welcome Centre des International Office (Campus Center im Raum 2128.a) anmelden.

Frankfurt, being the largest city in Hessen, is not only known for being the financial center of Germany but also for its impressive cultural features, attracting many curious visitors. Come visit and experience the city with us! Now you have the choice: you can visit the palm garden, the largest botanical garden in Germany and discover many rare and exotic plants. Or, take a look behind the scenes and come along to the film museum. Here you will find many exciting impressions on film production and enactment, as well as the development of “film”. Afterwards, we will have enough leisure time to explore the city center and have some free time.

Registration:

• Each excursion requires either a participation fee or a deposit which has to be paid in cash at registration.
• Deposits will only be refunded to those who are participating in the excursion!
• You can register for the excursions on Mondays between 1 and 3 pm at the International Office’s Welcome Centre (Campus Center in room 2128.a).
