In the first week, students from grades 9 to 13 build driving robots from components they have assembled themselves: They have to screw their robot together themselves, do some soldering and program a microcontroller in "C". Mon - Fri, 9 am - 3 pm. Registration here: http://www.uni-kassel.de/eecs/veranstaltungen/robocup-rescue-junior-ferienworkshop.html

In the second week, 7th and 8th grade students build driving robots with Lego EV3 according to instructions, their own ideas are welcome. The workshop will take place at the Student Research Center. Mon - Fri, 9 am - 2 pm. Registration optional at andreas.scheel[at]sfn-kassel[dot]de Description on the SFN page: https://sfn-kassel.de/

Prior knowledge is not necessary for either workshop.

The goal of the workshops is to lay the groundwork for the qualifying tournament, which will take place in Kassel on February 27 and 28, 2020. Two teams from the Kassel area made it to the World Championships in Montreal in 2018.
