Kassel is the second greenest city in Germany and thus offers pure recreation.

With an area of 2.4 km², Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe is the largest of its kind in Germany. You can discover the rushing water games, the imposing Hercules, Wilhelmshöhe Castle and the artificial ruin Löwenburg in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Also popular are the Karlsauen along the Fulda or the flower island Siebenbergen.
