Study: University is one of Kassel's most respected employers

The university is thus perceived as being exceptionally committed to the region. The University of Kassel also scored above average in the other surveyed areas of social responsibility, shaping the business location, career opportunities, recommendations and general attractiveness as an employer. According to the survey, the university is thus one of the ten "most attractive employers" in the city and region of Kassel.

This year, for the first time, Statista determined the most attractive employers in Germany's 38 largest cities. For this purpose, the company said it surveyed a total of 16,300 employees in February and March of this year, including almost 300 employees in our region. Companies were assessed in the dimensions of attractiveness as an employer, acceptance of social responsibility, local commitment, active shaping of the business location, development and career opportunities, and recommendations.

In addition to an assessment of other companies, respondents were also asked about their own employer; based on the direct and indirect assessments, Statista used a model to determine Kassel's most attractive employers.
