Study and career information days at the Campus Center

On February 25 and 26, the University of Kassel, together with the Kassel Employment Agency, invites you to the Study and Career Information Days. In the Campus Center at the university location Holländischer Platz, high school students and other prospective students will receive a comprehensive overview of the university's range of courses and various vocational training programs in more than 50 events.

University lecturers and subject specialists provide information about the content, structure, duration and career prospects of the study and training programs.

At information booths, institutions that support studies present themselves and give advice on how to find a place at university, on voluntary services after school, training courses or financing studies.

Information will also be provided about the new bachelor's degree program in technomathematics offered at the University of Kassel in the 2020/21 winter semester.

"Our goal is to give prospective students a vivid insight into our diverse range of courses. With this knowledge, we would like to offer young people support for their study decision," says Thomas Haubrich, the person responsible for the study information days at the University of Kassel, assessing the high significance of the event.

Consistently high visitor numbers confirm the need for and importance of the Study and Career Information Days in Kassel. Last year, about 8,000 interested people took part in the events. "This year, extensive information and diverse events will again be offered, which can provide important impulses for students and interested parties to make successful study and career choices," said Jörg Giersieper, advisor for academic professions at the Kassel Employment Agency.

Participation in the study and career information days is free of charge and without registration.

The lectures will take place in the lecture halls at the Campus Center of Kassel University, Moritzstr. 18. Artistic courses of study will be presented at the Kunsthochschule Kassel, Menzelstr. 13, the profession of journalist and professions in publishing at the Hessische Niedersächsische Allgemeine, Frankfurter Str. 168, and professions in uniform at the Berufsinformationszentrum BIZ of the Agentur für Arbeit, Grüner Weg 46.
