University supports demo against agitation, hate, extremism and violence on Thursday

The city of Kassel has organized the rally, which is supported by a broad alliance. The call states:

Together we are strong!

North and East Hesse together for democracy, tolerance, diversity and openness to the world. In view of the murder of government president  Dr. Walter Lübcke and the disturbing events of the past weeks we set together a clear indication. With a broad alliance, the city of Kassel calls all people in the region to a rally on

Thursday, June 27, 2019, at 5 p.m.,
in front of the Regierungspräsidium, Am Alten Stadtschloss 1.

We are a peaceful region oriented to our free democratic basic order. We resolutely oppose any attempt to divide our society through agitation, hatred, extremism and violence. We call on everyone to show attitude and stand together for the preservation of our democracy, for mutual respect, for tolerance, diversity and openness to the world. The more who come, the stronger our signal!
