From research to action: Kassel Science Talk

How can findings from science be disseminated in such a way that they stimulate people and become relevant for politics? This is the central question at the "Kassel Science Talk" - a new format in which Prof. Dr. Stefan Bringezu discusses current topics with top experts from science, politics and society.

The pilot event in mid-October featured Dr. Hans Bruyninckx, Director of the European Environment Agency. Bruyninckx gave a presentation on climate change, sustainable resource use and how these highly relevant topics can be successfully communicated. The presentation was followed by a discussion with University President Prof. Dr. Reiner Finkeldey, moderated by Bringezu.

Prof. Dr. Stefan Bringezu is Professor of Sustainable Resource Management and Director of the Center for Environmental Systems Research (CESR) at the University of Kassel.
