Speed dating for students dropping out of university

The aim of the speed dating event on June 13 is to bring together students in doubt with companies and specialist advisors in a relaxed atmosphere. This successful event is being organized by the "Kasseler Netzwerk für Studienzweifler" for the fifth time. 

The event will take place on the campus of the University of Kassel on June 13 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the dining hall of the Zentralmensa. After a brief introduction to the event, students in doubt will have the opportunity to talk to the participating companies. The number of participating companies is large.

People who have dropped out of university are increasingly in demand. Speed dating creates a platform where companies can come into contact with these interesting applicants and drop-outs and students in doubt can set the course for a career start. In the Meet&Greet area, advisors from the network will also be available for informal discussions about doubts, opportunities and alternatives.

The Kassel network for students in doubt consists of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Kassel Chamber of Crafts, the Kassel Employment Agency, the Job Center of the City of Kassel, Kompakt e.V., the Social Counselling Service of the Studentenwerk as well as the General Student Advisory Service and the Career Service of the University of Kassel.

Even before the actual speed dating event, a preparatory event will take place on June 4 from 2.30 p.m. in the BIZ of the Employment Agency. Participants will receive tips and advice from the professional on how to present themselves in the best possible way in 10 minutes. This event is organized by Ms. Beate Sieber Budeck from the university team of the Kassel Employment Agency. The speaker is Ms. Sandra Wilhelm, HR Management, Micromata GmbH. No pre-registration is necessary for this event.
