2 Research assistants (EG 13 TV-H) - in the field of urban renewal

Part-time with 75.00 percent of the regular working time of a full-time employee. The positions are to be held until Dec. 31, 2022, as part of the project "Urban renewal at the turning point - the importance of citizens' initiatives against the

Altstadtzerfall für die Wende in der DDR" limited term (§ 2 Abs. 2 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate or habilitation is given.

Tasks:

• Scientific collaboration in the above mentioned project.

Requirements:

• Academic university studies in history, urban and spatial planning, geography, cultural studies completed with at least good results.

Advantageous are:

• Previous knowledge of urban history and GDR history
• Thorough and independent working methods
• A high degree of organizational skills
• Experience in dealing with contemporary witnesses and archive materials
