Teacher as educational assistant (A 13 HBesG) - in the Institute of Mathematics

Job profile:

Preparation, supervision and follow-up of practical school studies (also in the practical semester); implementation of didactic courses for students of mathematics for secondary schools.

Requirements profile:

First and second state examination for the teaching profession for secondary levels with mathematics as a subject; at least three years of school practice after the second state examination or at least five years of relevant professional experience.

The secondment/partial secondment as a teaching assistant from the school service is initially for a probationary year and can be extended for a further 4 years.

In accordance with the Ordinance on the Scope of Teaching Obligations of Academic and Artistic Staff at Universities in the Federal State (Teaching Obligations Ordinance), the standard teaching obligation is 9 course hours for almost exclusively teaching activities and 7 course hours for predominantly teaching activities.
