Research assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the field of civil law, corporate law and information law

Full-time, the position is limited until 31.12.2020 as part of the project "DLT Basic Research" (§ 2 Abs. 2 WissZeitVG). The preparation of a dissertation is part of the project work.

Your tasks:

• Scientific collaboration in two sub-projects as part of the above-mentioned project:
  1. Crypto-Assets - Blockchain-supported assignment of rights to persons (about two thirds)
  2. Changes in market structures and processes through the use of blockchains / smart contracts - C2B instead of B2C
     (about one third)

The requirements:

• Academic university degree in law or business law completed with above-average success

Advantageous are:

• Additional knowledge in the field of information science
• Prior knowledge in the field of distributed ledger technology
• Prior knowledge in one of the areas of economic analysis of law, competition law or competition theory/industrial economics
• Strong scientific interest
• Good knowledge of the English academic language
• A thorough and independent way of working
• A high degree of organizational skills
• Basic programming experience
