Part-time position with two-thirds of the regular full work time; fixed-term, initially for three years (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG). The successful candidate can qualify for a doctoral degree.

 

Tasks:

  • Contribution to research and teaching in the area of "Globalization and Politics"
  • Organizational and substantive support for a post-doc in preparing third-party funding applications on "International organizations and post-growth ideas", especially through research assistance work
  • Independent research in political science (doctoral thesis)

 

Essential skills:

  • Excellent or very good degree in politics (MA or equivalent) with a specialization in International Relations, International Political Economy or global governance
  • Proven ability to work in teams, communication skills
  • Proven ability to undertake thorough and independent work
  • Excellent command of the English language (in both writing and speaking)
