Artistic employee (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - Comics/Illustration department

Part-time with half of the regular working time of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited for 3 years with the possibility of extension until 30.09.2023 (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in connection with § 2 Abs. 1 Satz 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility for further artistic qualification is given.

Tasks:

• Participation in the study program of the subject Comic/Illustration
• Supervision and advising of students
• Participation in exhibitions and projects
• Participation in the study offer of the basic class in visual communication
• Conducting own seminars and workshops
• Development of an own qualification project

Requirements:

• Completed studies at an art academy or an accredited university degree program
• Publications in the fields of comics/illustration
• A very good portfolio
• Relevant professional experience in the fields of comics and illustration
• Experience in teaching

Submission (synopsis) of a design/creative qualification project in this field is expected.
