Welcome to the University of Kassel Prof. Dr. Anne Rohstock!

Dr. Anne Rohstock has been Professor of Educational Science with a focus on historical educational research and democracy education since April 1. She initially worked as a doctoral student at the Institute for Contemporary History in Munich. This was followed by positions at the University of Luxembourg, where she was part of the international History and Theory of Education network for three years, and the University of Tübingen, where she taught and researched as a junior professor of general education. Her main focus is on the educational and higher education reforms of the 20th century. She is also concerned with the disciplinary history of educational science - particularly during the Nazi era - and is interested in the epistemological benefits of, among other things, technofeminist perspectives and science and technology studies for historical educational research. She is also co-founder and co-editor of the open access journal On Education: Journal for Research and Debate.
