Vernissage "The Soil Question - Climate, Economy, Common Good"

The exhibition "Die Bodenfrage - Klima, Ökonomie, Gemeinwohl" (The Soil Question - Climate, Economy, Common Good) makes a stop in Kassel and deals with a very current topic: soil policy.

We live on and with the soil. It feeds us, it cools the atmosphere and we need it for living, leisure and work. Since the world financial market crisis, conservative financial investments no longer pay off, and so our soils have developed into coveted investment objects that are in high demand internationally. Rising rents are proof of this. Our social market economy, our community and our success in dealing with climate change are thus at stake. Free access to land must therefore be renegotiated.

In the exhibition, the land issue is examined on the basis of the themes of climate, economy and common good. In doing so, cross connections will be made and very concrete approaches to solutions will be shown.
