2nd Sociological Symposium with guest lecture

On May 6, the 2nd Sociological Symposium will take place at the University of Kassel. In this forum, students will present their research results in lectures and posters.

The event begins at 2 p.m. in the Senate Hall (Sophie Henschel Haus) of the University.

At 4.15 p.m., Prof. Wilhelm Heitmeyer will give a guest lecture in Lecture Hall 3 of the Campus Center. He is Senior Research Professor at the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research on Conflict and Violence (IKG) at Bielefeld University. The sociologist will talk about the social preconditions for the rise of the AfD. Admission is free. Registration is not required. The number of seats is limited.
