Usage orientation and diversity aspects as drivers of technological innovation.

Today, technology development must meet high standards:
Products and services should function in diverse contexts and for a wide variety of people - at the same time, they must comply with social and legal values and standards.
But how can I profitably involve future users in technology and product development? What do I have to pay attention to if I want to avoid a lack of acceptance? What role do diversity aspects play in the development process?

In the lecture by Prof. Dr. Claude Draude, head of the department Gender/Diversity in Information Systems at the University of Kassel, approaches and tools from human- and user-centered IT development will be presented and discussed using examples from current research and design practice.

The side of the economy of North Hesse will be represented by Mrs. Julia Esterer (Managing Director Dr. Ing. Ulrich Esterer GmbH & Co. Fahrzeugaufbauten und Anlagen KG and member of the presidium of the IHK Kassel-Marburg), who will also moderate the innovation breakfast.
