Accessible library introduction

Library introduction for students and university members with impairments - the event gives the opportunity to get to know the campus library as the largest location of the UB Kassel under the aspect of accessibility. Participation is open to all students who are interested in the support services offered by the campus library or who would like an introduction with a little more time at the individual stations. Duration approx. 90 minutes - Registration is not required. Meeting place: entrance hall

Topics: Literature search in the catalog portal KARLA, finding needed media on the shelf, self-service devices for borrowing and returning, advice at the service desk, support for visually impaired students.
