Witzenhausen Conference: "Climate.Change.Agriculture. - Cool solutions in hot times"

For the 27th time, the Witzenhausen Conference, organized by students, will take place from December 3 to 7.
The theme this year is "Climate.Change.Agriculture. -cool solutions in hot times"

As a contributor of emissions, agriculture is a set screw for the extent of future global warming. At the same time, it is highly vulnerable to climate change, which is now evident in drought and extreme weather events in our latitudes.

In presentations and workshops, we will discuss questions such as: How can agriculture adapt to changing climate conditions? What is the contribution of organic farming? Are technical reforms enough or do we need completely new concepts in crop production and animal husbandry? What role must politics and society play? What can I do as a farmer?
