Discounted Deutschlandticket for students of Kassel University
Nationwide mobility for 29.40 euros - this will be possible for Kassel students from the start of the summer semester on 1 April 2024. With a contract now concluded between the AStA and mobility partner NVV, the University of Kassel is one of the first universities in Germany to introduce the discounted Deutschland-Ticket.

The monthly amount of 29.40 euros (instead of the regular 49 euros) is included in the semester fee of 340.94 euros, which must be transferred upon re-registration or enrolment. The D-Ticket replaces the previous semester ticket, which was only valid in the NVV and neighboring transport associations.
The current Deutschlandticket student upgrade expires automatically on 31 March 2024. Anyone who has been using it up to now does not need to do anything else to cancel it.
