Mina Esfandiari traveled 30 days and more than 1,200 kilometers on the German Unity Cycle Route from Bonn to Berlin. Impressions and encounters of this bicycle journey are shown in her photographs, which can be seen in an exhibition starting October 21 at the Campus Center of the University of Kassel.

November 9, 2019, marked the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and October 3, 2020, the 30th anniversary of German unity. How far has Germany grown together in these 30 years? Photographer Mina Esfandiari wanted to know and in the summer of 2019 cycled with her own muscle power along the official German Unity Cycle Route from West to East (from Bonn to Berlin) and collected personal stories, moods and portraits in her photo essay. The photographer has curated her impressions and encounters along the bike path in an exhibition that will be on display from Oct. 21 to Nov. 21, 2022, at the University of Kassel Campus Center, Moritzstrasse 18.

The visit of the exhibition is free of charge throughout the entire period.
