Kassel Roundnet team participates in German championship

Already in the group phase, the Kassel teams were able to achieve very good results and thus secure good placements. Also in the knockout phase the Raccoons kept their nerves and could win one match after the other. At the end of the day, Kassler teams were in both finals.
In the Mixed Division, Nora Haas and her playing partner Julian Scholl from Cologne (team name: "Leileileilolo150619") competed. After an exciting match, the two were able to beat their strong opponent from Frankfurt in the third set and thus won the championship title.
In the men's division, Fabian Claus and Dennis Fräsdorf ("Die Ranger") won second place after a very strong tournament day. The first place here went to the team "Block and Roll" from Cologne.
In addition, Eva Weidemann and Janik Schwarzer ("Üff Üff") took fourth place in the mixed division.
All in all a very successful day for the Roundnet Raccoons who can hardly wait to prove themselves internationally in two weeks at the European Championships in Cologne.
