Welcome to the University of Kassel Prof. Dr. Christoph Flückiger!

Dr. Christoph Flückiger took up a professorship in clinical psychology at the Institute of Psychologyin Kassel in August 2022. He studied at the Universities of Bern and Zurich and had extended research stays at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Northwestern University. He completed his doctorate in Bern on the topic of "Resource-oriented psychotherapy" and his habilitation followed in 2012 on the topic of "Research approaches in the contextual metamodel".
Christoph Flückiger is a psychological psychotherapist with an additional qualification in clinical supervision and has been involved in over 200 empirical and conceptual publications on the effectiveness of psychotherapy. His research focuses on the interface between pathopsychology, psychotherapy and mental health. Christoph Flückiger is Editor-In-Chief of the peer-reviewed scientific journal Psychotherapy Research.
