Among the Top 100: Professor from Kassel is one of the most influential authors in social work science

A study has identified the 100 most influential authors of scientific texts in the field of social work. Among them is Prof. Dr. Sigrid James, Professor of Theories and Methods of Social Pedagogy at the University of Kassel, who is the only author from Germany to rank 72 on the list.

For the study, the participating researchers conducted a secondary analysis of a publicly available database that collected data on scholars publishing worldwide (Ioannidis et al., 2020). The database was first created in 2019 and has been continuously improved and updated since then.
