Prof. Dr. Timo Braun

In April 2023, Dr. Timo Braun took over the management of the interdisciplinary field of "Project Management in Digital Transformation". After completing his doctorate at the FU Berlin, which was awarded the German Project Management Study Prize, his academic career initially took him to the TU Kaiserslautern as a post-doc, then to the FU Berlin as a junior professor of project management and finally to Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences as a professor of organization and management. He habilitated in 2019 on the topic of "Building inter-firm networks within and across projects", for which he received the Global Research Award from the International Project Management Association. In the meantime, he has been a visiting scholar at Columbia University (New York) and Tilburg University (Netherlands). His research focuses on the design potential of project organizations with regard to innovation, transformation and cooperation processes.
