Dr. Katrin Steinack has headed the newly created Research Service unit since September 2017

Steinack has extensive experience in research funding: At the University of Kent, she established the research administration of Kent Law School. Between 2012 and 2017, Steinack headed two faculty offices for research funding at the University of Melbourne: she assisted both the Law School and the Faculty of Arts of the Australian university in initiating research projects. Steinack studied political science, history and public law in Munich from 1993 to 1998. After her studies, she received her doctorate in political science from the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich, where she also worked as a lecturer. (dwü/Photo: Sonja Rode)
