Presentation of the "Between TwoBridges Niederzwehren" project

The Department of Architecture, Urban and Landscape Planning (ASL) will present the results of an open space enhancement project on July 10 at 5:30 p.m. in Haus HAFEKA, Gottschalkstraße 26 R. 0105. The project "Between TwoBridges Niederzwehren" deals with the green space between Märchenviertel and Dorothea-Viehmann-Park in Kassel's Niederzwehren district. The students have designed attractive pedestrian and bicycle connections, including two new bridges over the Grunnelbach stream there.

Interim presentation of the project Zwischen ZweiBrücken Niederzwehren.

The starting point for the design work was the examination of fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm, which are based on stories by the 'fairy tale woman' Dorothea Viehmann. The project is led by the Department of Design and Building Construction, Prof. Brigitte Häntsch, and the Department of Landscape Architecture/Design, Prof. Ariane Röntz. It is a

cooperation between students of architecture and landscape architecture. The students have tested integrated, interdisciplinary work in dealing with the topic.

The exhibition with the plans and models of the students can be seen at the traditional "Rundgang" of the department from July 10 to 13 between 9:00 and 19:00 each day at HAFEKA.
