Brown-bag lunch from INCHER-Kassel: Teaching research in (sociological) higher education research.

Teaching is the poor relation of university research, according to the thesis of the lecture. If teaching is considered, then in connection with governance, quality assurance or academic freedom. This is not least due to the fact that the preoccupation with teaching, i.e. the interaction in the seminar room, is left to university didactics. As a result, there is often too little focus on structural and social aspects, as considered by sociological research on higher education. First approaches and research results on how to close this research desideratum will be discussed in the brown-back.
