Feminist Theologies at the University of Kassel. Assurance, concretization, perspectives

German-language feminist theology was significantly shaped at the two Kassel Institutes of Theology. For this reason, the Institute of Catholic Theology is taking the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the university to offer historical and current insights into the innovative achievements of feminist theologies. In her guest lecture, Dr. Aurica Jax, director of the Office for Women's Pastoral Care of the German Bishops' Conference, will take a historical look back at the beginnings and protagonists of feminist theology at the University (Gesamthochschule) Kassel, as well as provide current position statements.
Afterwards, the professors of the Institute of Catholic Theology(Prof. Dr. Ilse Müllner, Prof. Dr. Mirja Kutzer, Prof. Dr. Annegret Reese-Schnitker) will each shed light on current research projects and debates from their theological disciplines - biblical theology, systematic theology and religious education.
Afterwards, in a discussion with all participants, the current situation of feminist theologies and theological gender research in light of current church-political and social conditions will be discussed.
