The team of "The Memory Monster", Prof. Dr. Martin Schmidl and Burak Yilmaz talk about memory culture and the role art can play in it. What does the aesthetic design of these places say about the practices of memory culture? How can an inclusive culture of remembrance be shaped, also with the means of theater? Prof. Dr. Martin Schmidl wrote his doctoral thesis on the exhibition history of the Dachau concentration camp from 1945 - 2001, Burak Yilmaz is an educator from Duisburg and, among other things, the initiator of the project "Young Muslims in Auschwitz".
