How do I identify and use my career options and how do I find the right career option for me based on my interests and strengths?

Goal of the happy2learn workshop
This workshop lays the foundation for your start in the working world. Together with you we will work on searching, finding and selecting the right career option for you and your studies. In addition, you will be provided with various tools and information sources that will continue to support you in your career planning.  

Main topics

• Identifying your own strengths and abilities as a humanities, cultural or social scientist - soft skills and hard skills - in a self-reflective way.
• Reflecting on your professional goals and deriving possible individual career paths from them
• Get to know different portals and job advertisements for finding a profession and evaluate and select the right fit.

Competence gain through this happy2learn workshop

• You will learn to assess the professional and personal competences of your studies in a professional way
• You gain first orientation to professional possibilities & and learn to evaluate them according to their relevance and individual fit for you.
• You will be able to analyze job advertisements effectively and purposefully for your career orientation.

Please bring along to the workshop:
Please bring at least one (for you interesting / appealing) job advertisement - in paper form / printed out - to the workshop!

Special feature
At the beginning and at the end of the workshop we will include your individual career and selection questions. Thanks to career happiness tools and collaborative exchange, a career guide with possible options for your career choice will be created for you. The workshop allows you to interactively shape your career path early on and apply workshop content around career options directly to your career success while still in college.
