Concert of the Uni-Bigband: "New German Jazz-Composers

This semester, the big band of the Institute of Music at the University of Kassel presents arrangements and compositions by German, or German-speaking big band specialists of the newer generation. Among others, pieces by Oliver Leicht, alto player of the hr-Bigband, with whom the band did a workshop this semester, will be presented.

You can also look forward to works by pianists Rainer Tempel and Florian Ross, trumpeter Frederik Koester, trombonist Bernd Lechtenfeld and saxophonist Robert Friedl, as well as an arrangement of the Kraftwerk classic "Das Model" by John Hollenbeck.

Admission is free, donations are requested.
