In our internationalized working world, intercultural competence is one of the key skills for young professionals. For many employers, working effectively with people from other cultures is now a matter of course. As exciting and educational as working in multicultural teams can be, it undoubtedly comes with a number of challenges. Linguistic understanding is a challenge, as core values or the understanding of team roles can be completely different.

Are you about to finish your studies and want to start your career with an international company? Or you want to start your job directly abroad? Are you planning to do an internship or a semester abroad? Or you want to further qualify yourself for your career entry? If so, then this workshop is for you. Here you will learn which requirements you have to face in the global business culture and which strategies are relevant for successful communication and interaction.

Combined with creatively playful exercises and simulations, various topics are covered, such as working in multicultural teams, communication and teamwork, critical incidents in multicultural teams, and even culture-dependent expectations of a leadership role.

The workshop will be conducted by Rucha Ambekar M.A., Intercultural Trainer and Consultant.

Upon submission of a course credit (to be determined by the event director), 1 credit can be certified for additive key competencies (Bachelor students only). All participants will receive a certificate of attendance afterwards.
