We will take you on a tour of the campus and show you the important buildings and service facilities! Of course, we'll answer questions about the application process or everyday student life.

The campus library is a central, lively place of learning and work for the university and the city of Kassel around a huge store of knowledge. But what does the interior of the building look like beyond the freely accessible areas? On tours, we also provide an insight into the "engine room" of library operations. You can try out the new 3D scanners in our lab and see the 3D printer in action. At the end of the tour, browse through the well-stocked book flea market, which is sure to have something interesting for your personal bookshelf!

We are happy to give you a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to transfer, store and process data securely. We will take you on a tour of a state-of-the-art and sustainably operated data center. During our tour of the data center, we offer you an exclusive insight into the digital infrastructure of the University of Kassel!

In our mobility laboratory, interesting human-machine interfaces of public transport in Kassel are demonstrated. With the driving simulators, you can experience the following areas of public transport up close: a streetcar ride, a passenger counting system and the Königsplatz stop. Try it out, nothing can happen!

From the startup taster course to the startup get-together and startup advice - the North Campus is the place to go for startups! During the tour, we provide insights into the Science Park Kassel innovation center. The 6000m² area is currently home to around 40 start-ups.

Kassel is also a place that is deeply entangled in the history of German colonialism. This historical legacy is not immediately visible in today's cityscape. This tour by the "Kassel postcolonial" initiative follows in its footsteps. The tour is close to the campus, also takes you into the city and lasts at least an hour.

What do you do with the ash from the incinerators that is produced every day? Disposal or new building materials? We will take you on a tour of our test facilities and give you an insight into our research into the sensible utilization of ash and biowaste.

Ventilation systems are standard equipment in many buildings. Nevertheless, they often consume a lot of electricity and sometimes produce unpleasant background noise. Semi-centralized ventilation systems can offer a good alternative here. We show and explain the differences!

How does a 3D printer actually work and how do we use virtual reality? We will answer these and many other questions about digital skills in the world of work in our guided tour of the digital lab!

Collaborating robots? This is already a reality in our robotics lab. Our department will show you how our programmed little helpers solve various tasks with us and how you can interact with them! You can also experience human-robot collaboration in gearbox assembly and humanoid robots up close.
