Hesse-Queensland

Students from all the faculties at the University of Kassel, who have at least completed their 3rd semester (BA) or 2nd semester (MA) at the time of their departure, can apply.

You can find more information on the programme and links to the universities taking part here. 

A full application contains:

  • Application documents for the Hesse-Queensland programme; they are designated on the website
    • Notes on the Statement of purpose: The letter of one to two pages should be submitted informally in English. Make clear why you would like to participate in the program, what value this would have for your studies and for you personally, why you have chosen which universities and why you are suitable to act as an ambassador for the state of Hesse.
  • An online form from the University of Kassel for students applying to spend a period of study abroad

 

The aforementioned documents must be handed in via e-mail to auslandsstudium@uni-kassel.de by 15 May. Please create one PDF consisting of the necessary documents.

 

Timetable

  • By 15 May: completing the online application and handing in all the application documents at the International Office via e-mail
  • End of May/beginning of June: selection discussions at the International Office, if necessary
  • July: Hesse-wide selection meeting and nomination of the Hesse applicants for Queensland
